“She was sitting in a garden more beautiful than even her rampaging imagination could ever have conjured up, and she was being serenaded by trees.” – Lynn Kurland

New Location
The main, or perhaps most obvious, new addition to the game in the Spirit City: Lofi Sessions – Enchanted Garden DLC is that of a new location, and it’s a beautiful garden complete with three separate areas! Players can enjoy relaxing or engaging in activities in the main part of the garden, in the gazebo, or in the greenhouse. Just like the existing locations, these can be fully customised with a selection of plants, colours, furniture, and lighting. Some of the choices have further colour options, allowing players to really personalise their garden experience. Additionally, there are a number of new backgrounds providing a choice of scenery to surround the garden with. These include a forest, enchanted mushrooms, fields, or a cityscape.
A new space would not be complete without fresh soundscapes, and alongside this DLC, three more have been added to the base game: bustling farm, rustling leaves, and meditation. A new playlist from Lofi Girl, Spring 2026, has also been added. These are a welcome addition to the game and work perfectly with the new environment.

New Spirits
The Spirit: City Lofi Sessions – Enchanted Garden DLC introduces thirteen new companions for players to discover. Among the new additions, players will find Mushroot, a mischievous practical joker, Harmonifly, an adorable music composer who is branching out from classical music to create lo-fi tracks, and Garden Guardian, a small but powerful faerie sworn to protect nature. As in the base game, the spirit-dex contains hints on how to find the different spirits, and players will have to meet certain conditions, such as time of day, activity, and sounds in order to begin searching for a specific companion.

What Else is New?
There are a number of other new additions in the Spirit City: Lofi Sessions – Enchanted Garden DLC. It brings further updates to the base game, such as a new avatar customisation category, hand accessories, new full body outfits, and new head features, antennas. On top of this, and specific to the DLC, players will also get new avatar hats, pants, tops, outfits, shoes, and unique garden gloves. Players can also partake in a selection of new activities, including playing guitar, watering, gardening, harvesting, painting, repotting, and even experimenting with potions!
Other new features are also available in the base game. Controller support has been added with a disable feature in the settings, burn-in screen reduction can also be found in the settings, and most excitingly, players will now have the ability to open external playlists in Spotify (web or desktop app) directly.

Summary
Spirit City: Lofi Session – Enchanted Garden is a substantial update to an already brilliant game. The new content adds to all of the more fun aspects of the game without getting in the way of the productivity tool’s efficacy or hindering the player’s focus on external tasks. As with the previous content, spirit collecting is a largely idle task, and the additional customisation options encourage earning points through things like completing to-do lists in order to create a flourishing and truly enchanting garden in which to complete tasks or relax.
The amount of new content is comparable to that of the base game in terms of the new space available, customisations, and the extra spirit companions that can be found. It absolutely justifies its price tag, especially considering the number of free updates and additions that have already been, and are continuing to be provided. The new content is well considered, thematic, fun and a wonderful addition to the base game. If you already enjoy Spirit City Lofi Sessions, then you’ll love Enchanted Garden. If you haven’t played but are looking for a charming idle game with creature collection, productivity tools, and a focus on general well-being, then look no further!
