“People have wanted to narrate since first we banged rocks together & wondered about fire. There’ll be tellings as long as there are any of us here, until the stars disappear one by one like turned-out lights.” – China Miéville
What is LudoNarraCon 2026?
LudoNarraCon 2026 (LNC) is a FREE digital convention hosted on Steam, with a focus on celebrating narrative and storytelling in video games and the talented and dedicated people who make such titles. The initiative was started in 2019 by indie publishing label Fellow Traveller, creating a platform to showcase unique and innovative narrative-centric games. This year’s event is the eighth event of its kind and will run from 10am PDT on the 8th – 15th October. Historically, LNC has been held in April or May; however, this year’s event was rolled back to make time for a new, exciting event – The Story-Rich Showcase.
Being an entirely digital event removes any geographical focus or restrictions and enables LudoNarraCon to concentrate on the focus of the convention and appeal to a relatively niche market on a global scale. The overall aim is to replicate as many of the aspects and benefits of a physical convention as possible, without the many drawbacks of a crowded exhibition floor.
The LudoNarraCon 2026 Festivities will include:
- A showcase of 51 carefully selected games
- A vast selection of demos will be available to download and play during the digital festival – some available for the first time!
- Streamed sessions showcasing some of the demos on offer.
- Two days of scheduled Fireside chats with industry leaders live on the ‘main theatre’ stream (available to watch after).
- A megabundle of 10 games will be available on Steam.
- Over 150 narrative games will be available in a special LudoNarraCon sale.

LudoNarraCon 2026 Exhibitors
Applications for the official selection were open to games that released since the last event (May 2025), or that will be releasing in the next couple of years. This year’s exhibitors were carefully chosen from hundreds of submitted games and include 51 fantastic narrative-focused titles.

Demo Streams and Fireside Chats
LudoNarraCon features two days of narrative-focused content streaming to Steam and YouTube and then available on demand via YouTube. For past events, this has traditionally been a mix of content that Fellow Traveller organise directly as well as panel discussions submitted by the community. For LudoNarraCon 2026, they have decided to take a break from the panel discussions and are focusing on fireside chats and demo streams.

LudoNarraCon 2026 Day One – Thursday 8th October
The opening day of LudoNarraCon 2026 focuses on demo streams hosted by Lucy James and Remap. They will be showcasing seven narrative-driven game demos that will be available throughout the event.

LudoNarraCon 2026 Day Two
Day two of LudoNarraCon 2026 will take place on Monday 12th October and features seven fireside chats with a host of prominent games industry names, including Sam Barlow, Edmond Tran, and Catherine Unger and Daisy Fernandez of Milktooth. These talks broach a broad range of topics relating to narrative and storytelling in video games, ensuring there is something to pique everyone’s interest.
LudoNarraCon 2026 MegaBundle
During LudoNarraCon 2026, a great-value megabundle of fantastic narrative-driven games will be available to purchase on Steam for less than £15! It will include 10 games that have featured in the festival since it began in 2019 at a huge discount for a strictly limited time.
